I was inspired by the Hero Arts Card of the Week, but I didn't have that adorable baby deer stamp. So I just used my cute little owl! I think it turned out pretty cute.

I <3 Hero Arts
Recently I've fallen in love with Hero Arts. This is a company that "gets it" in terms of social media, blogging, Twitter, etc. Better than that, they have great stamps! I love all the designs, and their social media savvy makes it easy for me to fall deeper in love with ideas and inspiration. I even won a Twitter contest and got a free stamp from them!
They do a weekly challenge, and I'm going to try to participate each week. Here was my first challenge: Create a monochromatic card:
I used the HA CL291 for both the large and small circles, and a HA stamp for the three flowers.

First Post and Pictures!
Hello World! This blog is to document my card and craft making adventure. I have found a new hobby and love for paper, embellishments, and artistic expression through crafting. After years of dabbling in stamping and scrapbooking, I am finally doing enough on a regular basis to call it a hobby.
After I finished a card tonight for a friend who got engaged, I took a few pictures of it to remember what I did. Then I thought, why not publish the pictures in a blog so other people can see it and get ideas? I have drawn so much inspiration from other websites, so I am giving back to the online community.
With a small child and a full time job, I can't promise I'll post often, but I hope that what I post you find fun, creative, and inspiring. Leave a message to let me know if you have any comments, questions, or ideas for me!
Thanks!
Jenny
